Tree Donation

Donate to the Forest Service Plant-A-Tree Program

You may indicate with your donation if you would like it to go to where it is needed most, or specifically designate a National Forest as the recipient, but keep in mind that there may not be a reforestation need there immediately. If there is no tree planting need for the selected forest, the donation may be used for tree planting on another forest. The Forest Service will care for the trees as part of normal forest management activities. Planting usually takes place during the next planting season following the donation. Seedlings planted with the donations are not designated on the ground as a memorial, they become part of the forest ecosystem.

The minimum donation is $10.00. Donations are used exclusively for acquiring seedlings and to the cost of planting trees.

Note: As part of the check-out process you will be asked create an account with Login.gov or Check Out as Guest. For more information see the FAQ.
